Year 4 Nature Rangers Week One πΎππ
This week, our Nature Rangers explored the fascinating world of animal homes! We began the session with a discussion about the different types of homes animals build and where we might find them in the wild. The children shared ideas and learned about habitats such as burrows, nests and webs.
Armed with a checklist of animal homes, the group headed into the forest area for an exciting scavenger hunt. They searched high and low, identifying a variety of homes including rabbit dens, spider webs, mouse tunnels and many more. It was wonderful to see their curiosity and teamwork as they explored the natural environment.
After our adventure, we gathered around the fire to warm up and enjoy a well-deserved treat - s’mores! It was the perfect way to end a fun and educational session outdoors.
