End of year mass & celebrations for Class of 2022

23rd Jun 2022

This evening we had our End of Year Mass and Achievement Ceremony for our wonderful Year 7 children as we bid farewell to the Class of 2022. Thank you to Father McGahan for celebrating our Mass and making it so meaningful for all the Year 7 boys and girls. It was a lovely occasion to have the children, their parents, grandparents, family and friends in attendance to celebrate the special End of Year Mass and Prize giving.

Well done to all the children in their roles as readers and gift bearers. Thank you to Mrs. Mullin and our school choir.

Afterwards everyone enjoyed a  fantastic barbecue. Thanks to Shane O'Hagan and Fr. McGahan for providing delicious refreshments for everyone.

Thank you to Mrs. Carson for preparing the beautiful gift bags. We had a lovely evening watching the wonderful Leavers' Ceremony video produced by Mrs. Barrett as pupils looked back on so many cherished memories of their time at St Patrick’s.

Thank you to all the teaching staff and non-teaching staff for their care and dedication throughout the children’s time at St Patrick’s. A special mention of gratitude must go to Year 7 Class Teacher and Principal, Mrs Keira McCallan, Mr. Meenagh and Mrs. Carson for their kindness and dedication in the children in their final year at our school.

On behalf of all the staff, pupils, Board of Governors and St. Patrick’s school community, we thank all the children for being fantastic ambassadors and great role models.

We wish them all the very best in the future and pray that God and their families guide them through the years to come. The door will always be open for them to return for a chat and visit and we wish them all the very best in the future. Take care and stay safe!
