🍁Autumn Colour Fun!🍂
The Year 1/2 children had a wonderfully colourful Welly Wednesday today! Their challenge was to search for leaves in different shapes and shades, then place them carefully on the matching spot on the parachute. Some discovered big, broad leaves, while others found tiny delicate ones. There were yellows, browns, and even striking multicoloured treasures. Once the parachute was full, the children worked together to send the leaves flying into the air. They laughed and squealed as they pretended to be autumn leaves themselves—swirling, twirling, and gently tumbling before “popping” each other out of the middle. We finished with a cheerful round of our Knowing Me, Knowing You game. Children swapped places and shared fun little facts about themselves—like their favourite colour—helping us all learn something new about one another.🍁🍂
