Bird Feeders 🐦

As part of our Outdoor Learning session, Year 4 had a wonderful time making bird feeders to help care for the wildlife around our school. We used string, Cheerios, and slices of apple to create simple but effective feeders for the birds.

The children carefully threaded the Cheerios and apple pieces onto the string, then hung their feeders on trees and bushes in our outdoor area. We talked about how important it is to look after birds, especially as the weather gets colder and food becomes harder to find.
