The Year 1/2 children made their very own bug hotels at Nature Rangers this week. We started by discussing all the bugs we might find in our Forest School area then sent off with some magnifying glasses to find them! The children found beetles, ants, bees, worms, centipedes and so many others. They then decided what to fill each ‘room’ of their bug hotel with- twigs, leaves, moss, grass, even mud! Some children decided to take theirs home whilst others left them at school to see just how many bugs might ‘check in’! Great job everyone! ☺️🐝🐞🪲
