Our P7 pupils were delighted to take part in the returning Cúchulainn Blitz for Camogie and Hurling on Friday 24th April 2026, held at the Garvaghy, Tyrone Centre of Excellence. It was a fantastic day out for all involved and a great opportunity to practise and develop our skills alongside other schools from the Clogher Valley.
Both teams performed superbly, with the girls reaching the Cup Final and the boys progressing to the Shield Final. Each match went right down to the wire, with extra time and a dramatic golden score finish, narrowly missing out on victory.
A special congratulations goes to Caragh McCarroll and Calum Woods, who were deservedly named Girls’ and Boys’ Player of the Tournament.
Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable day that showcased teamwork, determination and a real love for our games.
