The children in Year 1/2 had fun building Dens today. We started by reading our Forest School story all about building dens and how to use nature to help us. Then the children got into teams and worked together using bamboo sticks, fallen branches, pegs and tarpaulins to create their own dens. They had a tasty drink of hot chocolate with marshmallows and a biscuit before finishing off their masterpieces! Great team work and use of nature to create a den they could use! ☺️⛺️
