We are thrilled to share the fantastic news that both our boys' and girls' football teams emerged victorious at the Drumquin Football Tournament, marking our third football triumph this week!
🌟 Girls' Shield Champions 🌟
Our girls' team delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament. In the group stages, they played three thrilling matches, winning two and securing a well-earned place in the Shield Tournament. In the semi-final, they faced the host school in a tightly contested match. With incredible skill, determination and teamwork, the girls edged out their opponents to reach the final. The final saw them go head-to-head with Tattyreagh. The girls displayed exceptional talent and composure, dominating the game with a high-scoring performance to become the Shield Champions! Well done!
🏅 Boys' Cup Champions 🏅
The boys' team were unstoppable from the start, winning all their group stage matches with flair and confidence. Their efforts earned them a place in the prestigious Cup Tournament. In the semi-final, they faced a formidable Dromore side. It was a tough battle, but the boys held their ground. A special mention goes to Dylan McKenna, whose heroic goalkeeping kept the team in the game with a series of crucial saves. In the final, they met Castlederg. With excellent sportsmanship and skill, the boys played brilliantly and secured a well-deserved victory, becoming the Cup Champions!
