π»Eco Committee Trip!πΏ
24th Jun 2026
The Eco Committee children enjoyed their end-of-year trip to Wild Ireland today. They learned about Ireland’s fascinating past and discovered that much of the country was once covered by rainforest. They explored the clues and evidence that help us know this today.
The children then had the opportunity to meet some of the animals that once roamed freely across Ireland, including bears, wolves, lynx, and wild boar. They also saw animals that are not native to Ireland, such as raccoons and sika deer.
It was a fantastic day of learning, exploration, and wildlife encounters, made even more special by the beautiful sunshine. Everyone had a wonderful time and created lots of happy memories to end the year together! ππ»πΊπ¦πΏ
