The children in P1/2 listened to the story, ‘How to catch a Leprechaun’ today before setting off into our forest area to create some Leprechaun traps of their very own! Using twigs, bright coloured petals and other natural items, each group created as maxing traps! Then suddenly they spotted something hidden in the bushes… a real pot of gold! Only thing was they were made from yummy chocolate and each child got to have one. Then they made their way back to the outdoor classroom where the cheeky leprechaun had also poured out some juice as well as left out some more tasty treats! One final play and our Nature Rangers were ready for home! Happy St. Patrick’s Day boys and girls for next week! ☘️🌈
