We have been reading the story of The Little Red Hen recently and after much discussion, we decided today was the day… we made some bread! Mrs. Dodenciu acted as our very own,’little red hen’, gathering all her ingredients and equipment- only this time, unlike the Little Red Hen, she had helpers! Eager Year 1 and 2 boys and girls helped with mixing, kneading and doing the all important taste test after it was baked! We asked, “who will help us eat this bread?” to which we got the resounding reply, “WE WILL!” 😋🍞
