Mental Maths Fun! 🔢

Our Year 1 and 2 pupils have been enjoying lots of hands-on mental maths activities so far. The children loved practising the days of the week through songs and games, and had great fun exploring the Numicon “feely bag” – using their sense of touch to guess the shapes before checking if they were right. They also played a lively number order game, working together to put numbers in the correct sequence. There was plenty of laughter and teamwork, with the children growing in confidence as they played and learned.
