🐌Spring Term Week 5🪱
23rd Apr 2026
During Nature Rangers, the children used clay to create their own minibeasts. Each child chose a unique minibeast, such as a beetle, snail, spider, or caterpillar, and carefully thought about how to make its features using shape, texture, and detail. They discussed the body parts their minibeast needed and experimented with different techniques, such as rolling, pinching, and joining the clay. The children showed creativity and independence as they planned and created their models, taking pride in their finished minibeasts. We finished the session with some free play, followed by yummy juice and biscuits, which everyone really enjoyed.
