Year 1/2 had their 3rd Monday, Nature Rangers session. We discussed safety rules at the start and then got stuck into how to create leaf people! In groups, one child lay down, whilst another drew around them with chalk. Then they had to gather autumn leaves to design their leaf person! We also had apple for snack which the children helped to cut and we decided to gather some sticks for a campfire we hope to have in the next few weeks. We need the wood to be dry so we cut it into small bits using a hacksaw and we will cover them to dry them out. Great job everyone! 👍🏻🍂😊
