Our Digital Leaders recently presented a fantastic assembly in celebration of Safer Internet Day. Each leader held up a page that together spelled out the important message: SAFER INTERNET DAY.
They introduced this year’s theme, “Smart Tech, Safe Choices,” and explained how technology - especially smart devices and AI - is becoming a bigger part of our everyday lives. The Digital Leaders talked us through how we can all make sensible decisions online, from protecting personal information to thinking carefully before clicking, sharing or chatting.
They also explored the pros and cons of AI, helping everyone understand how these tools can be helpful, creative and educational, but also how they must be used responsibly. The assembly reminded us to question what we see online, check sources and always speak to a trusted adult if something feels wrong.
Overall, the Digital Leaders delivered a clear, confident and engaging message about staying safe online and making smart choices in a digital world.
