The Year 1/2 children used their senses this week to hear, see, smell and even taste the signs of spring. We took the children to our new seating area in the Forest and sat quietly for 1 minute. The children could hear lots of sounds, especially birds singing in the trees and leaves rustling in the breeze. They then went on the look out for various plants and flowers as well as tadpoles and bugs. There was a shower of rain when we were exploring, so the children got to ‘taste’ the spring weather too! ☔️
