This week during Nature Rangers, Year 3 took part in an exciting den building activity outdoors. The children worked together in teams to design and build their own dens using natural materials, branches and tarpaulins. They showed excellent teamwork and communication skills as they shared ideas, solved problems and helped one another throughout the task. The activity encouraged the children to think creatively and carefully about how to make their dens strong, stable and weatherproof. It was wonderful to see them developing important thinking skills such as planning, decision-making and perseverance while also building confidence and independence. Most importantly, the children had lots of fun exploring nature, working collaboratively and enjoying learning outdoors together.
