This week’s Nature Rangers session was full of spooky fun and seasonal treats as we embraced the Halloween spirit! The children arrived dressed in their best Halloween costumes, ready for an afternoon of adventure and autumnal magic in the forest.
We kicked off the session with a sweet surprise: Haribo treats were hidden throughout the woods, and the children had to work together to find them all before they could enjoy them. It was a great way to get everyone exploring and engaging with nature while adding a playful Halloween twist.
Once the Haribo hunt was complete, we gathered around the fire pit. The children helped cut up apples, which we then dipped in brown sugar and roasted over the flames. The result? Delicious sugar apples that were a perfect seasonal treat – warm, sweet, and slightly smoky!
