The Year 1/2 children had a very enjoyable day at the beautiful Florence Court for their ‘Signs of Spring’ trip. The day began with lots of interesting facts about Spring then the children got hands on, exploring nests of various birds! They were able to see close up what the nests were made from. Then they discussed pollinators and one in particular, the ladybird! The children got crafty making their very own ladybird 🐞. We had one final activity, which took us out to the glasshouse where we explored the various seeds and even got to plant a few! We had a Spring picnic in the garden and got back on the bus for home. What a busy day for P1/2! 😃🐞🌸🐣
