Year 4 Nature Rangers - Week One

5th Mar 2026

Today Nature Rangers was back and Year 4 completed an exciting outdoor hunt with the hope of earning some delicious hot chocolate at the end. They began by discovering their first clue, which led them to a science experiment where they mixed oil and water to create a colourful lava jar. Once it settled, they added a “magic” tablet that made it fizz and bubble—and they absolutely loved it! Their next clue sent them off to identify four different trees, a challenge they completed with no problems at all. After a quick group photo, they read the next clue and returned to base “like grizzly bears,” where they had to track down Foxy, who was hiding from them. Foxy then handed them another clue: a matching activity where they paired each animal with the correct print they created. Afterwards, the children built cosy homes for their chosen animals, before finally enjoying their well‑earned reward of hot chocolate!
