Year 4 Nature Rangers Week Two 🔥

During our Nature Rangers session, Year 4 learned all about fire safety and how to light a fire responsibly. With adult supervision, everyone had a go at using a flint and steel to create sparks and light a small piece of cotton wool. It was very exciting to see the sparks catch and the cotton wool start to glow!

Once our fire was safely lit, we used it to make a special treat — s’mores! We toasted marshmallows carefully over the flames, then sandwiched them between two biscuits to make a gooey, delicious snack.
