What an incredible summer we’ve had at Forest School! From our tiniest new Primary 1s to our seasoned Year 7 adventurers, every child had an absolute blast exploring, creating, and playing in our beautiful forest setting.
Throughout the scheme, the children took part in a wide range of exciting activities. They made delicious popcorn over the fire, crafted sweet sugar apples, toasted treats, and even got creative with mud to make their own natural artwork. Den building was a huge hit, as was our hands-on woodwork station where imaginations ran wild and skills were sharpened.
Of course, no Forest School experience would be complete without time spent in our much-loved sand area, where diggers were hard at work and laughter filled the air. The forest swings were also a favourite, with children soaring through the trees and enjoying the freedom of outdoor play.
It’s been a joy to see so many happy faces, new friendships forming, and confidence growing in the great outdoors. A huge thank you to all the staff and families who helped make this summer one to remember!
